Congrats on all of the good news! That age difference would be ideal for me because of the independence level.
I put green food coloring in the toilet for my kindergarteners and then wait for someone to notice. They think it is so funny. :-)
Congrats! You will love having a baby boy!
I bought eleven Bumgenious all-in-one elemental one size diapers. http://www.bumgenius.com/organic.php. I used them exclusively for the first three months and occasionally after that. Only kind I tried... like them because they are one piece and one size that grows. And can machine wash and dry.
Large head measurement on ultrasound at 38 weeks and proved to be true.
Never knew about these! I used the plastic pants over cloth but now use huggies overnights. Is this something you think could be used in the pool?
Yes, Levi had torticollis and plagio from being so squished the way he had been growing in me. I wore him lots and worked with him on learning to sit up early so he would be off of it more - he hated being on his tummy, and still does. What really worked well for him and had quick results was letting him sleep - naps and bedtime - with a butterfly shaped pillow. I would guess most any pillow would work since it is softer than a mattress. He has seen a PT and does not need a helmet. I would say that gradually over about 3-4 weeks of sleeping on a pillow, it is almost completely gone and not noticeable. It sounds like you are doing the right thing. I hope you see some improvement!
Beautiful kids and photography! :-)
Cute! The cake - oh my!
I liked it! I am glad the topic is being put out there since it is so unfamiliar to many.
I understand. I pumped A LOT (not fun). Baby boy is almost 6 months and I am down to pumping once a day and supplementing. He struggled with and hated nursing from the very beginning.
Cute, Congrats! Enjoy him. :-)
Adorable costume! I can't believe how much hair she has already!
Amazing! Your baby will love it. :-) can you tell me how you made the growth chart on the wall? I have been wanting to make one.
There is a new show starting on MTV this month called Generation Cryo. The link didn't work when I posted it but you can search for the name of the show on MTV.com
This is what it says about it...
These days, the nuclear family -- you know, a mom, dad, 2.5 kids and white picket fence -- is certainly not the norm. Families come in all shapes and sizes, and on November 25, we'll meet Breeanna, a 17-year-old with two moms who was conceived through sperm donation. While being filmed for MTV's new docu-series, "Generation Cryo," Bree will set off to find out any information she can about the man who helped give her life, as well as her FIFTEEN half-siblings.
"I just can't believe that these kids I'm talking to...we're all related," she says in the trailer below. But though they have DNA in common, the brothers and sisters' views on whether or not they should make contact with their biological father vary. Some of them, like twins Jayme and Jesse, didn't grow up with a dad, and share Bree's curiosity as to who he could be. Others, like twins Paige and Molly, have no interest in meeting their donor, and consider the man that raised them the only one that matters. If the trailer is any indication, however, all of the siblings will form a lasting bond and commit to helping Bree find the answers she's looking for.
Check out the trailer for the compelling new series, and don't miss the premiere of "Generation Cryo," Monday, November 25 at 10/9c!

It sounded alright until you got to the Halloween part! If she is amazing and you could never find someone that great, I'd stay, otherwise shop around. I do not have to pay for holidays.
National cupcake day has me cracking up. :-)
So happy to see this update! Congrats! :-)
Congrats X 2! :-)
When my sickness was at its worse, I would have to set an alarm over night to take the zofran. It helped with the morning when waking up.
There were different prices based on how long you wanted and number of photos. Mine was 90-100 dollars for I think 10 or 20 minutes. It was well worth it!
Exciting getting close! For me it was a few days.

They would still share a special common bond of being donor conceived. That could help them feel connected.
Re: Breast feeding isn't what I thought it would be... (29 replies, posted in Pregnancy and Babies)
I felt the same way. It got better for me around 7 weeks and I also supplemented. Do what you can but no guilt!
I love a good birth story! He is sooo big and adorable. Congrats :-)
I lost so much I had bald spots forming. I had no idea that hair loss happens until I Googled it. Kellymom has a good article explaining the timing. I had it starting at 2 months and it lasted about 6 weeks. It is growing back. I hope you get yours back soon!
Congrats on your big boy!
Thanks for updating! :-) she is doing great!
Thanks for posting an update. :-) sounds like things are busy but good. Therapy will be great for your little guy - especially starting so early!
Can you message me with it too? Thanks :-)
Lol! I liked the sleeping on the floor picture.

I hope you find the right OB and hospital for you. I loved the hospital I delivered at and was glad I was there with the OB I switched to at 38 weeks. It is important to know you are in good hands. I had complications, blood loss and an emergency c-section so i am glad I was at a good hospital. Keep researching and ask around - hopefully you find a good fit. :-)
I have a baby bullet and love it. We aren't doing solids yet but I started making and freezing to stock up. Apples and sweet potatoes so far.
Jais... post the link. I would like to look.
