Uh, did I totally miss that you had your baby JayJay?!?
And since I wrote that, nothing useful to say on this topic except, I've got nothing for ya at 29 weeks. No leaks, no drops, nada. I will say I had a bit if tenderness today .... Maybe something's ramping up in there?
I'm going to take this moment to get on my breastfeeding councillor/lactation consultant in training soapbox and remind people that if you leak, or not, if you can express, or not, if you leak in one pregnancy, and don't in the next, NONE of this is relevant as to whether you will be successful in breastfeeding! Feeling letdowns while still pregnant, heavy, warm feeling breasts, tingling, dripping, crusties of colostrum on your bra at the end of the day, or nothing at all, none if it is a pre-indicator. If you are wanting to breastfeed, meet up with a breastfeeding councillor or lactation consultant, check our Le Leche Leagues website, look up kellymom.com, talk to other Mommas who have breastfed, educate yourself, arrange a support circle for yourself and get comfortable with your own boobies. But do not stress about if you will make enough milk or not, there is no indication of that until it comes in after birth.
Need to update a ticker, Silas Anthony Jordon born Oct 11, 2013. 6th baby, so much love!
